parenting & family therapy

Families go through their own ups and downs, as does every relationship. There is no rule-book on how to parent or live harmoniously within a family, since each family is unique. Through parenting and family therapy, family members are taught how to effectively communicate with each other, improve their emotional expression skills, and share their gratitude for each other. Emphasis is placed on shared family values and goals. Contact Dr. Padron for more information on the parenting/family therapies available and if it is a good fit for you.

behavioral issues

When behaviors start to cause problems in relationships, school performance, and family dynamics, you should seek help. Also consider how long disturbing behaviors have persisted and their intensity. A one-off temper tantrum may be normal, but explosive reactions that seem outside what is appropriate and occurs frequently can raise concern. Difficulties managing behavior in the classroom setting can also be an indication that your child may benefit from early therapeutic interventions.
